Birth Certificates were certificates that users would obtain after creating/purchasing a Furry Friend from Build-A-Bear Workshop. These certificates are still produced today, however the style is very different and they are no longer connected to Bearville. The old certificates included the following:
- Date of Birth (of the bear)
- Name
- Height
- Weight
- Fur Color
- Eye Color
- Who the Furry Friend belonged to
The certificate also had a signature from the founder of BABW, Maxine Clark. These certificates were given to every person who brought a bear to life.
At the bottom of the certificate were two different codes: the Animal ID and Keycode. These two codes could be used to bring your Furry Friend to life in Bearville! These codes could only be used once.
