Character Clothing was available in many stores across BuildaBearville; it could also be won in Minigames, Quests and through Badges. The main stores clothing could be bought from were Bearville Outfitters, Pawlette's Coufur Boutique and the Bearywood Mall.
There were 6 sections to Character Clothing when looking in one of the catalogues;
- Outfits (including dresses)
- Hats
- Shirts
- Pants
- Shoes
- Accessories
Users could also colour any of the items to whatever colour they desired by spinning the colour wheel on the right of the screen. This also allowed you to change the shade of the colour as well.
In the catalogue, your character would show up in the top right corner and as users clicked on items of clothing, they would automatically appear on the character without having to have bought it. This allowed for users to see if they would like to buy the item or continue looking for other items of clothing.
When users hovered their mouse over an item of clothing, 'TRY ON!' would pop up underneath their mouse.
In the 'Hats' section, users could buy many different types of items for their characters' head. These included wigs, bandanas, caps, headbands and more; if bought from Bearville Outfitters, these would cost Credits and this was the main place that users could buy wigs. Other shops, such as Pawlette's Coufur Boutique, allowed users who couldn't obtain credits to buy items of clothing with Bear Bills that they had earnt by playing Minigames and completing Quests.
